Kick-off Meeting
A kick-off meeting was held on 9-10 February 2005 at Die Deutsche Bibliothek, in Frankfurt to officially launch TEL-ME-MOR. The meeting gathered all the project partners to discuss and clarify the Pracovný plán with a focus on the first activities to carry out.
Below is the ppt presentation delivered at the meeting by Ian Pigott, DG Information Society, Directorate E - Vzdelávanie a kultúrne dedičstvo, providing a comprehensive overview of the ’Opportunities for New Member States to participate in IST calls covering Learning and Culture’.
Project kick-off
TEL-ME-MOR was officially launched during a kick-off meeting in Frankfurt, on 9-10 February 2005.

CALL 4
Európska komisia has published in December Call 4, which is currently open and will close on Tuesday, 22 March 2005. The call offers excellent opportunities for partnerships between libraries, museums, archives, schools and other related institutions and it covers the following two areas:
• Vzdelávanie pomocou technológií (enhancing learning through technologies) Strategický cieľ 2.4.10
• The Rozšírená Európa (Strategický cieľ 2.4.13), designed to promote and facilitate New Member States participation while catalysing partnership with the rest of Europe. It provides for proposals to focus on making a contribution to strengthen integration with the Rozšírená Európa in the selected field by building on good practices and involving appropriate national organisations. One of the four specific areas addressed by this objective is eLearning.

DigiCULT Newsletter
New issue of the DigiCULT/eCulture newsletter has been published. It is available for downloading and viewing at http://www.cordis.lu/ist/directorate_e/digicult/newsletter.htm
In the light of the upcoming Call 5, it focuses on priorities for research targeting the IST Strategický cieľ Access and Preservation of Cultural and Scientific Resources . These priorities are presented from different perspectives, through an article on the roadmap developed by the DigiCULT Forum and after-event reports on IST2004 and VAST2004. In addition it has the usual selection of projects representing a broad range of on-going activities (including TEL-ME-MOR), updates on Commission news, Podujatia and publications.
